Hi friends!

As this post publishes, I’m practicing walking down an aisle. (AKA I am being a bridesmaid for a lovely friend/roomie from college.) With all the wedding festivities I’m involved in this weekend, I’m trying something new for my monthly favorites post. (AKA I can not make another video until after my I finish my thesis, because that business is time consuming.)

So today I’m sharing a round up of my favorite’s from this past month, some old and some new.

Favorite Eye Shadow of September:

I had to declare a tie between Shiro’s “I am Groot” and Glamour Doll Eyes’ “Never Be Royals” because I’ve been wearing them both non-stop. They are both pretty, dynamic colors that are more than they appear in their respective jars. I love the sheens on both of these, and will be wearing them into October.

Favorite Lip Color of September:

For work I’ve been wearing NYX Butter Lipstick in Pops almost daily. It’s a nice mauvey neutral for all the crazy glitter I’ve been wearing on my eyes.

On the weekends, I’ve been wearing Sunset Siren from the Wet N’ Wild fall collection.

And since I’ve gotten the Notoriously Morbid subscription, I can’t stop wearing Helluva Lover Lip Gloss.

Favorite Blush of September: 

Since I spent most of this month testing out blushes for the Cream Blush Post, I’ve actually been wearing the Maybelline Master Glaze stick in Pinch Pink, quite often. It actually was not my favorite of the cream blushes because it doesn’t last very long, but the stick is very creamy and easy to blend, so it’s been perfect for the rushed mornings I’ve been having lately.

 

Favorite Nail Color of September:

Although it chipped pretty quickly on me, I was obsessed with the Rainbow Honey Asteroid B nail color that came in my Mystery Bag. I felt like I had a little universe on my nails, and I loved it. I do wish it had held up better, but it was so pretty while it lasted.

 

Favorite Subscription of September:

Wantable was by far my favorite, I adored everything I got in my accessories box.

In terms of beauty boxes though, surprisingly I feel my favorite might have been Notoriously Morbid’s subscription. I really loved all of the eye colors I got in that collection, and the lipgloss.

Favorite Discovery of September:

Hands down, indie perfumes. I am having so much fun exploring the wide-ranging scents and styles of all the different companies. I’m still on the fence about if I will ever review any here, because I’m a total perfume noob, but I’m having my own fun currently.

 

Favorite September Haul:

Glamour Doll Eyes. I really wanted their September Gift With Purchase, and they were having a freebie Wednesday. So that’s how I ended up with all of this for about $30. It’s beautiful.

 

Favorite September Beer:

I had some amazing beers in September, but my favorite in terms of flavor and fall appeal was Breckenridge’s Autumn Ale.

And Southern Tier’s Harvest Ale was a close second. It only lost out because I think Breckenridge has the better flavor of the two.

All in all, this month has been full of adventures, both bad and good for me. I’m hoping to have less adventures in October, and possibly, more boring mundane life events occur. But the road to hell is paved with good intentions, right?
