Hey friends!

How was your weekend? It was very cold and rainy where I live, (this is not the norm), and it reduced my productivity by 87%. My laying in blankets rate increased by 65% though. I don’t know how you guys who live in parts of the world with snow do it. I would build a blanket cocoon and never come out. I applaud you many brave souls.

Anyways, I start class tonight, so I needed something sparkly and lovely in my life. Enter my January Wantable box! The whole theme of the month was pairing statement pieces with cozy outfits, which I was totally behind. I would accessorize my pajamas in a heart beat!

If you are new to Wantable, I have the Accessories subscription, which is $36 a month. You take a preference test and a stylist sends you pieces based on your selection, though you can also write in requests. Check out some of my other reviews, here, here, and here.

So let’s see what I got in my box this month!

Kourtney Earrings- I love these, they are bold, glam, but not too over the top for my personal style. I’ve already tried them out with a black shirt and jeans and I really liked the way it added some sparkle to the outfit. They’re a bit heavy, but they’ll be nice for going out.

Mandy Earrings- I like the color and style of these earrings, but I’m not sure how I feel about the design. They kinda look like fairies or angels? Am I the only one who sees that? They’re lightweight though, and I can always use a pop of color with my work outfits, so these might be good to wear then.

Ali Bracelet- I really like this bracelet, it’s very much my style: classic, simple, but a bit whimsical. I was afraid at first it wouldn’t fit on my wrist, (I’m a giant wristed woman), but after I squeezed it on for the first time, I haven’t had any problems.

Miranda Watch- This watch is not exactly something I would pick out for myself, it’s a bit edgier than I usually go, but I think I’ll try it out on the weekends. It definitely could add some edge to a boring outfit.

Overall: A pretty decent Wantable Box this month. I will definitely get some use out of the bracelet and Kourtney Earrings, I loved both of these items. The Mandy Earrings and Miranda watch will spice up my personal style, and get me out of my same ol’ choices.

My retail value was $74, which is probably what I would have paid if I picked up these accessories at Target or Charming Charlie, (I think Wantable’s quality is a little bit better, but it’s around the same range). Paying $36 to have someone else select trendy accessories and send them to my house really makes this box keep being a fantastic value for me. 

Next month I’m going to try and use the little request box on the Wantable site to see if I can get a few specific things. So…to be continued!
