Happy Sunday! I’m winding down a great weekend with the last post in my August series of Worth It Makeup Splurges. Today I’ve got my favorite expensive mascara, Too Faced’s Better Than Sex and a much cheaper, but still awesome version of Maybelline’s Lash Sensational Mascara.
And on the beer front we’re winding down summer with a blackberry sour beer, Odell’s Bromebeer Blackberry Gose. It’s a great transition from late summer to the beginning of fall.

You know what would be helpful? If I would post a review in a timely manner! I’m still getting used to my new work schedule, which involves waking up at 5am and a 45 minute commute, (not complaining, because it’s seriously a dream job and totally worth it), and it’s taking some adjustment.

Now that grad school is over, I’ve discovered this event that occurs on Sundays called brunch. Apparently you eat a meal later in the afternoon and it often includes alcohol. It’s pretty cool. I like it.
Since I missed my Friday Happy Hour post due to being asleep, (the first week of work at a new job always wears me out), I thought I could make this Happy Hour a brunch post, A Sunday Funday edition, if you will.
So today I’m sharing my favorite high end primer, Benefit’s Porefessional and it’s much more affordable drugstore, far removed cousin, Maybelline’s Baby Skin. And since summer is suddenly coming to the end, I’m trying to finish up in style with a delicious peach beer, Dogfish Head’s Festina Peche.
