5 Minute Face: Drugstore Edition

Hey friends!

I hope your week is going well! The topic for this post has been especially relevant to me this week as I adjust to 5:30 mornings again.

We’ve all been there some of us daily: The morning that something goes wrong and we’re in a rush to get out the door. 

In these times of extreme panic and coffee chugging, it’s good to have what I call the 5 Minute Face* up your sleeve: the makeup you can throw on while eating a granola bar and finding a shoe. (That was an exaggeration, if you can really multitask like this, I am impressed.)

It’s not a full face of makeup, but it’s done in 5 minutes, and you look awake and put together. Today’s products to help you get ready in a flash are all under $10, so that should add some pep in your step this morning!

*TBH I have a 15 Minute Face. I don’t move fast in the mornings. At all.

Favorite Drugstore Lip Products: NYX

Hello beauties!

Today is the grand finale of my favorite drugstore lip products! I adore NYX lip products and narrowed it down to my 2 absolute favorites: the Butter Lipstick line and the Butter Lipgloss line. These babies will cost you $5.99 and $4.99 respectively, not bad if you are a makeup addict enthusiast like me.

Favorite Drugstore Lip Products: Revlon

Hello beauties!

Yesterday the internet told me it was apparently National Lipstick Day, (this is everyday for me). Perfect timing for another of my favorite drugstore lip products!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock or you are a graduate student, you’ve heard about Revlon’s Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. (Henceforth known as Balm Stains, because I’m too lazy to type that ridiculous name over and over again).

The hype is accurate, these are a great lip product for someone on a beer budget. Really, anyone can enjoy these guys, they’re quite lovable.

PS: I buy mine at Target where I can usually get them for $6.99. At CVS or Walgreens they’re usually $8.99, which I give the side eye.
