Sunday Funday: 4 Favorite Fall Lipsticks and Wasatch’s Black O’Lantern

Hey friends!

Happy Sunday! It’s been a rainy, dreary weekend over here which means I finally sat down and banged out some blog posts! We are talking posts that are done, scheduled and ready for your enjoyment. Which means, I’ll have more than one post this week! What. I know. It’s pretty shocking.

For today’s post, I rounded up four of my favorite Fall 2015 lipsticks to share with you. If you caught my favorite Fall lipsticks posts last year, never fear-these are all brand new. And naturally, they are all under $8.

As for the beer, I bring you a deep, dark Pumpkin stout, Wasatch’s Black O’Lantern. It’s that time of year for dark beers. And dark lips. Seriously, forget Pumpkin Spice, Fall makeup and beer is where it’s at.

Sunday Funday-Happy Hour: Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Pumpkin Ale and Maybelline Baby Skin Blush

Hey friends!

How was your weekend? I attended a brunch and for the first time in years, actually baked a dish instead of grabbing something from the store! Oh the wonders of life post grad school!

Naturally, no brunch is complete without a little booze, and while I do enjoy the traditional mimosa, today’s Happy Hour beer, Alltech’s Lexington Brewing Company’s Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Pumpkin Ale matched up perfectly with the Pumpkin Cream Cheese French Toast Bake I made. (I’ll share the link to that recipe with you guys at the end of this post-if you are interested!)

On the makeup side of things, I continue my trend of being super lazy and buying convenience products with Maybelline’s Baby Skin Instant Cheek Flush Blush.

Sunday Funday-Happy Hour: ColourPop’s Fall Blushes and Shiner Oktoberfest

Hey friends!

How’s your Sunday? I had big plans to wrap up my Oktoberfest month by actually attending an Oktoberfest, but then I decided it was probably better for me to sleep and relax for once in my life. Since I feel like a person again, I do not regret this decision.

So despite my lack of German celebrating, I bring you my final installment in Oktoberfest beers, straight from the OG of Texas Craft Breweries itself, Shiner or Spotezel Brewery’s Oktoberfest. I’m pairing it with ColourPop’s new Fall Blushes, because it’s basically Fall. Sunday Funday: Happy Hour- Glamour Doll Eyes Customized Pressed Quad and Harpoon’s Oktoberfest

Happy Hour- Sunday Funday: Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and Odell Bromebeer

Happy Sunday! I’m winding down a great weekend with the last post in my August series of Worth It Makeup Splurges. Today I’ve got my favorite expensive mascara, Too Faced’s Better Than Sex and a much cheaper, but still awesome version of Maybelline’s Lash Sensational Mascara.

And on the beer front we’re winding down summer with a blackberry sour beer, Odell’s Bromebeer Blackberry Gose. It’s a great transition from late summer to the beginning of fall.

Happy Hour: Sunday Funday- Benefit’s Porefessional and Dogfish Head’s Festina Peche

Hey friends!

Now that grad school is over, I’ve discovered this event that occurs on Sundays called brunch. Apparently you eat a meal later in the afternoon and it often includes alcohol. It’s pretty cool. I like it.

Since I missed my Friday Happy Hour post due to being asleep, (the first week of work at a new job always wears me out), I thought I could make this Happy Hour a brunch post, A Sunday Funday edition, if you will.

So today I’m sharing my favorite high end primer, Benefit’s Porefessional and it’s much more affordable drugstore, far removed cousin, Maybelline’s Baby Skin. And since summer is suddenly coming to the end, I’m trying to finish up in style with a delicious peach beer, Dogfish Head’s Festina Peche.

Happy Hour: Benefit’s Gimme Brow and Breckenridge Agave Wheat Ale

Hey friends!

This Happy Hour is particularly exciting because I am done with grad school! FOREVER. I feel like everyone needs to stop, drop, and celebrate. Where ever you are, whatever you are doing-I invited you to join the post-grad school celebration!

And on that note, I have a really great drinkable summer beer to share with you, Breckenridge’s Agave Wheat Ale. I also am doing a mini-theme for Happy Hour this month: Favorite Splurge Products!
