Wantable Accessories: September 2014

Hey friends!

Happy Labor Day!

I hope that you are enjoying a lovely 3 day weekend and not writing a thesis. (Don’t worry I’m not. Heyyyyyy procrastination!)

I’ve spent this lovely weekend: 1.) At my local beer pub that I love. Duh. 2)Catching brunch with a friend from out of state 3.) Hanging out with my in-laws 4.) Reviewing products. I had like 5 boxes show up at once which terrified Mr. Danger. (He them immediately lost interest and wandered off to brew beer so, NBD.)

I’ve decided Wantable’s Accessories Box is my new favorite subscription box. My September Accessories Box arrived today and they knocked it out of the park for me again.

If you’re new to Wanable, I think they are great for the  lazy busy woman, who doesn’t have time to shop or keep up with new trends. You take a quiz and then accessories show up at your door. It doesn’t get any easier than that. Subscriptions are $36 a month, but so far mine have been well worth the amount.

Check out my review and let me know if Wantable fits into your beer budget.

Fortune Cookie Soap: Fall 2014 Box

Hey friends!

Random Fact About Rebs: I conduct lots of studying and work in my “office.”

Where is my office you say? Oh, just my bathtub.

I. Love. Taking. Baths. It’s my quiet time. I relax or if I don’t have time for relaxing, I read my textbooks. And it’s still awesome because I’m in a bathtub.

This being said, I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to discover Fortune Cookie Soap. There is nothing that feels more pampering and luxurious to me than some good bath products. Plus with cheeky little names like, “Unicorn Farts” and “Lemon Drop It Like It’s Hot”, I know we would get along. When I found out this company had a subscription box I was ON. IT.

This service is $19.99 and quarterly, (which is how I justified it in my mind. It’s not monthly, so, math, finances. Yeah.), and I got my first box, their Fall 2014 one last week.

Read on to find out what I got!

August 2014 Face Off: Birchbox Vs. Ipsy

Good morning friends!

Let’s start this week off with a head to head contest to really get our blood flowing on this Monday morning.

Today we’re pitting the $10 Beauty subscription services against each other, Birchbox Vs. Ipsy, in a all out brawl and fight to the death.

Whoa. Sorry about that last bit, I was really getting into my metaphor. Too much caffeine. (I had to wake up at 5:30 this morning for the first time in months, and it hurt. It hurt.)

So without any further mentions of violence, I give you the August Beauty Box Face-Off!

No. Not that Face Off. I give up. The caffeine has gone straight to my head.

Oh, and there are so many pictures in this post. You’ve been warned.

Rainbow Honey: August 2014 Mystery Bag

If you’re looking for this week’s Happy Hour post, never fear, I’m moving this series to Friday, and there will be a new post tomorrow to end the week!

Hello Beauties!

One of my favorite subscriptions arrived this week! Rainbow Honey is an indie beauty company that truly understands my inner desire for more glitter. They also make some fabulous perfumes and personal care items.

I get the Mini-Mystery Bag for $12.50 a month, which is a great deal for everything that’s inside. Check out what I got this month!

I ripped into this bag about 5 seconds after taking the picture.

Wantable Accessories: August 2014

Hello Beauties!

As a lazy busy woman, I often don’t have time to shop or keep up with new trends. Thankfully, there are subscription services like Wantable, that will let me take a quiz and then mail me accessories straight to my door.

I got my first ever Wantable Accessories box yesterday, and I loved it. It’s $36 a month, or $40 for a one time purchase, which I consider to be on the pricier end of things. However, I thought this was a great value for what I got. All of the pieces they sent me could easy be worn at work or in my daily life.

Check out my review and let me know if Wantable fits into your beer budget.

They clearly packed it for Rebs Danger. Completely legit.

Sunset 45: July “Starry Eyed” Box

Hello beauties!

Sunset 45 is a new subscription service that offers accessories and beauty products around a certain theme. After checking their boxes out on a few blogs, I was immediately smitten. $30 + $5 in shipping sounded pretty fair for total box value of $100 in Little Luxuries.

I got their July box shortly after my June one, I guess because I signed up at the end of June for their subscription. I was not going to complain because I ripped into my July box like a rabid animal. (Just being real, OK.)

Yes, please.

Ipsy July Bag: Sensationally Sun Kissed

Hello Beauties! I’ve mentioned several times that I love small sizes of makeup and beauty supplies, because it’s a great way to try new products and expensive brands without the price. I’ve been subscribed to Ipsy for a few months now, and they’re right up my alley. At $10 a bag with 4-5 samples, this monthly beauty subscription is definitely fits in my beer budget. (And I even have money left over for actual beer, it’s a win-win situation.)

If all my mail arrived in this bag, I wouldn't be sad.

July’s bag was probably my favorite so far this year. It was a delightful pink bag full of joy. And makeup. Continue reading
