It’s the FINAL COUNTDOWN! I have exactly:
-1 Day of Internship and
-2 Class Sessions
AND THEN I AM DONE WITH GRAD SCHOOL FOREVER AND EVER!!!! (And it will be forever, because if I ever go back to higher education it will be for a PhD. I’m not doing this Master’s level BS again. NOPE.)
Anyway, my joy is palpable over here. I’ve been expressing it by resuming a normal sleep schedule and starting to exercise again. I even went to this place called a park, which is apparently an outside area where people who aren’t in grad school go, and I went for a run. It was pretty exciting stuff.
I also decided to write a July Favorites post. I haven’t written in a Favorites post in a while, or any post for that matter, so I figured it might be interesting to share what makeup I’ve used this past month as I fought through my last month of grad school.
Remember how I’m behind in my posts? Well, here’s another one for you that I’m finally getting around to posting about, Black Violet’s Black Box Subscription. I apologize for the delay, but I had to take 3 baths to do a full review of this, and that can be time consuming!
Anyway, I am here today with my thoughts on the second installment in this new quarterly subscription, so let’s check it out!
It’s weird how March was only 12 days long this year. If you tried to convince me there were 30 days this past month, I would probably shake my head sadly for you, because it just didn’t happen. At least that’s how it felt to me.
It was hard to pick out favorite things since this month was only 12 days long, but I managed to create a March Favorites post because I have a duty to my readers. Also because there were a lot of pretty things and good smelling things this month.
So check out what made the favorites cut for the shortest month of the year!
Please enjoy your makeup and beer responsibly.
How’s the weekend treating you? I had really grown up adult expectations of going to bed early to do work on Sunday. And then Mr. Danger decided to brew and we stayed up until 1:30 in our garage, bonding with our next door neighbors, instead. Adult life choices, right here.
Due to this lack of sleep, I have a change in plans for my Subscription Sunday post. I’m pushing my Hello Waffle Visage Box review back until tomorrow morning. I hadn’t finished my FOTD look with the Visage box yet, and now that I have massive bags under my eyes, I’m going to wait until I look better to photograph my face. Vanity, thy name is Exhausted Rebs.
This means that I have a brand new subscription box to review for you today! Black Violet’s Blackbox! I’ve been stalking this box since I first heard of it’s creation in January, and I was so thrilled to grab one. It’s a mixture of skin and hair care products, plus perfume!
There will be more slots opening in May, so check out what I thought!
Love the label. All the packaging was just excellent.
I’ve been sitting on this review for awhile, just because I forgot part of my order and placed a second one. (I realllly wanted to try Ringmaster). But today I’m here with a little review of my first foray into Black Violet Perfume Vault and Bathory.
I’ve heard nothing but great things about Black Violet’s perfume, bath products, and customer service, so I knew sooner or later I’d be trying out the shop. It just so happened around early November she offered a special deal where if you ordered a certain amount, (I think it was $35), you also received a little Glamour Doll Eye’s goodie bag as a gift with purchase. I knew my time to try Black Violet had come.
See what I thought below!
