How was your weekend? I’m gearing up for another busy, (but awesome), week at the new job!
I’ve got two more summer beers to share before I start to move into cooler, fall weather beers and makeup. I’m back! Sorry for the random absence, I went out of town and then things were just bananas. I got back Tuesday and I still haven’t unpacked my suitcase.
But in good news, I’m in the final stretch of the danger zone! I have about 20 days of grad school and internship left and then I am done!!! Like for real done. No more grad school done. No more tuition and text books done. DONZO.
It’s going to be so beautiful.

How did your week go? Mine was full of naps. Yep.
For Happy Hour this week, I’m sharing 5 of NYX’s new Intense Butter Lipglosses! I’ve had my eye on these babies from the moment I saw their vivid swatches on Instagram. It was love at first sight. And I’m happy to report, our love story is going strong, because they’re a pretty awesome, cheap product.
And for my third Beer I Love, I’ve got, yes, another dark beer. But it’s Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout. It tastes like coffee! You’ll try it and forgive me for featuring another dark beer. (Which, I promise won’t happen next week.)

No exclamation marks today. I am dragggginnnggg. It’s been one of those weeks. A flat tire, broken appliances, 14 hour days kinda week. Oy.
But the good news is that it’s Friday and I can sleep in tomorrow! (Although most likely I’ll wake up early and swatch makeup because I am a weirdo.)
Thankfully today’s Happy Hour post is filled with beer and makeup I love. I have my 3 favorite drugstore neutral palettes and one of my favorite Imperial Porters, Karbach’s Hellfighter.

I am having the best day. Mr. Danger and I watched Guardians of the Galaxy in our pajamas and had pizza for breakfast. Now our out-of-town friends are coming over tonight for more pizza and delicious beverages. (This is really all it takes to please me.)
We’ll be grabbing a few more beers to serve tonight, (which I’m sure I’ll be posting on Instagram, heyyyyooo @BeautyOnABeerBudget), but today’s Happy Hour features a tasty Winter one to get you through the weekend.

I think the best part of the holidays is a lot of my friends and family come back in town. Tonight, I’m leaving the house to see a friend who’s visiting and I am very excited! Naturally, my first thought was: But how will I do my eye makeup?
Perhaps, I shall pull from my December Vanishing Cabinet from Notoriously Morbid! This subscription is about $13 a month, and comes with several eye shadows and usually a blush or lip product. Each month there is a different theme, and this month we have Merry Monsters!

I’m on vacation! Whooooooooo!
In other news, I tried to give my Postal Worker a gift card, ($15, I googled that they are able to accept this amount.) And he left it in the mailbox! Very sad that I was rejected by the postal worker.
I mean, my USPS guy is really awesome! He never delivers my packages to the wrong place or loses them or damages them. I just wanted to let him know how much I appreciate him! (He’s always delivering my something because I have a problem.)
For instance, my Rainbow Honey Mystery Bag arrived last week and he delivered it perfectly! I, however, then failed to review it until today. USPS: 1 Rebs: 0

I got my Wantable Accessories Box last week, but hadn’t had a chance to review it yet because of my grad school semester ending.
This month Wantable included bold pieces to amp up your style for the winter months. This sounded good to me because I’ve got a few holiday parties to attend. (I forgot what leaving the house is like, so I’m pretty excited.)
For those of you who are unfamiliar with how Wantable’s Accessories service works: I pay $36 a month with shipping for this service. I receive 4 accessories every month, based on my preferences on a detailed style quiz I took.
