How have you been? I got attacked by a stomach virus that took a week to recover from. It was pretty gross.
Anyway, I finally started to feel better this weekend and got to work on putting together a new Sunday Funday Happy Hour! Today I’m sharing probably one of the most delicious takes on pumpkin beer, Point Brewery’s Whole Hog Pumpkin Ale and some of the new Fall 5 pan palettes from Wet N’ Wild.
How are you today? I’m over here getting ready to go to this place that shows moving pictures about dinosaurs. I believe they call it the “movie theater.” I once went to one, but it was so long ago, I’ve forgotten. I’ll let you know if the moving pictures were any good!
In my absence, please enjoy this thoroughly overdue review of the Glamour Doll Eyes’ June OTM!
Oy. Tuesdays and Thursdays are bringing me down. Internship all day and class until 10pm. I’m trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel, because I’m almost done with grad school. Does the light have beer? I hope so. This post has beer, at least. We can start there, with a review of Brideport’s Bear Hug Cherry Chocolate Stout.
I also have an EOTD/BOTD of an easy cheesy work look you can do when you just want to sleep or possibly never wear makeup again. (It’s not been my top priority lately, TBH.) I used Hello Waffle’s Mendelssohn, but any pretty light pink shadow will do.
So let’s check it out. (See the period there? I’m too tired for exclamation points.)
We made it to Friday! My first full week of internship has been fantastic, but I am totally ready for hours and hours of Orange is the New Black! YES SUMMER.
For tonight’s Happy Hour, I’m going with the complete summer vibe. I’m sharing some of my favorite products from ColourPop’s Summer Collection, and a really interesting ale, Victory Brewing Company’s Summer Love.
How’s it going? I got out of my class last night at 10pm, which I am pretty sure is illegal, and I am tired!
Thankfully, I have all of the glitter. All of it. Because I am the proud owner of ColourPop’s Nillionaire from their Summer Collection. I bought a bunch of items from their Summer launch that I’ll be sharing this Friday for Happy Hour, but today we put all the focus on Nillonaire, because it’s goregeoussssss. And to make it even more summery around here, I’ve got Good Juju from Left Hand Brewing Company, a really nice ginger ale. (The kind for grownups. Sorry, kids.)
How’s your week going? Do you need a duochrome in your life? I thought so.
Today’s EOTD/BOTD features one of my favorite Shiro eye shadows, I Loved a Maid, and the Blue Moon Horchata Ale that I’ve been yearningggggg for weeks to try now. So it’s very interesting, is what I’m saying.
Sorry if posts have been coming out a bit slower these past few days. I’ve been working on a few things behind the scenes and I’m slowly but surely catching up.
In other news: We’re halfway through the week! I needed glitter in my life today, so I thought I would revisit an old favorite for today’s EOTD: Colourpop’s So Quiche! (And by old I mean I bought this shade like 9 months ago. But still.)
For the Beer of the Day, I decided to switch it up. I’ve been drinking a lot of light, warm weather beers lately, but I felt it was time to get back to one of my favorites: a coffee porter, and Ballast Point’s Victory at Sea seemed perfect for this cause.
How’s it going today? So I started watching The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmit on Netflix, (usually while I’m scarfing down dinner), and I’m loving it. It’s charming, silly, and hilarious, with jokes and gags crammed into every scene. I had a meh day and Kimmy Schmidt was a great pick-me-up. Let me know in the comments if you’ve seen it!
Anyway, makeup and beer are also good pick me ups to meh days, and I have both for you today in our EOTD/BOTD. I’m sharing another look I tried with the “More Human Than Human” Collection from Aromaleigh. This one is a fairly subtle work appropriate look. Because that’s where I live.
I also have Belfort, a Belgian Style Strong Ale that Mr. Danger got for me, from Rogness Brewing Company. (I’ve really been on a Belgian role lately.)
For today’s EOTD/BOTD we have the second round of eye shadows I picked up from the Glamour Doll Eyes’ Anti-Valentine’s Day Collection. Since I only grabbed four I decided to do a little mini review with the EOTD.
