EOTD/BOTD: Hello Waffle’s September Visage and Rogue’s Pumpkin Patch Ale

Hey friends!

How’s your week treating you? I haven’t gotten to do an EOTD/ BOTD post in awhile because I’ve been choosing sleep over makeup. You probably would to if 5am was your wake up call. I’ve also been living out of pressed palettes because of the ease of application, so I haven’t really been doing anything exciting with my makeup.

Except on the weekends, when I bust out all my indies and pigments and bold lip colors and go bananas! This past weekend, I finally sat down with my Hello Waffle September Visage Box and pulled together a totally appropriate work look for Fall, using all the warm colors in this lovely box.

And I had to pair this Fall look with a Fall beer. (Because pairing beer and makeup is normal in my world). So I cracked open my Rogue Pumpkin Patch Ale for a delighful fall inspired combo!

Sunday Funday: 4 Favorite Fall Lipsticks and Wasatch’s Black O’Lantern

Hey friends!

Happy Sunday! It’s been a rainy, dreary weekend over here which means I finally sat down and banged out some blog posts! We are talking posts that are done, scheduled and ready for your enjoyment. Which means, I’ll have more than one post this week! What. I know. It’s pretty shocking.

For today’s post, I rounded up four of my favorite Fall 2015 lipsticks to share with you. If you caught my favorite Fall lipsticks posts last year, never fear-these are all brand new. And naturally, they are all under $8.

As for the beer, I bring you a deep, dark Pumpkin stout, Wasatch’s Black O’Lantern. It’s that time of year for dark beers. And dark lips. Seriously, forget Pumpkin Spice, Fall makeup and beer is where it’s at.

Sunday Funday-Happy Hour: Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Pumpkin Ale and Maybelline Baby Skin Blush

Hey friends!

How was your weekend? I attended a brunch and for the first time in years, actually baked a dish instead of grabbing something from the store! Oh the wonders of life post grad school!

Naturally, no brunch is complete without a little booze, and while I do enjoy the traditional mimosa, today’s Happy Hour beer, Alltech’s Lexington Brewing Company’s Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Pumpkin Ale matched up perfectly with the Pumpkin Cream Cheese French Toast Bake I made. (I’ll share the link to that recipe with you guys at the end of this post-if you are interested!)

On the makeup side of things, I continue my trend of being super lazy and buying convenience products with Maybelline’s Baby Skin Instant Cheek Flush Blush.

Sunday Funday-Happy Hour: Whole Hog Pumpkin Ale and Wet N’ Wild Fall Palettes

Hey friends!

How have you been? I got attacked by a stomach virus that took a week to recover from. It was pretty gross.

Anyway, I finally started to feel better this weekend and got to work on putting together a new Sunday Funday Happy Hour! Today I’m sharing probably one of the most delicious takes on pumpkin beer, Point Brewery’s Whole Hog Pumpkin Ale and some of the new Fall 5 pan palettes from Wet N’ Wild.
