Sunset 45: June “Tribal” Box

Hello Beauties!

Sunset 45 is a new subscription service that offers accessories and beauty products around a certain theme. After checking their boxes out on a few blogs, I was immediately smitten. $30 + $5 in shipping sounded pretty fair for total box value of $100 in Little Luxuries.

I always need more accessories because:
1. I am too lazy to go out and buy them
2. I have pretty boring taste.
3. I’m cheap as hell.

After stalking the June box (their launch box) across the internet I may have shrieked a bit when my box arrived on my door step. (2 day shipping? Hell yes.) The theme was “New Tribal” which I figured would be great for me because I currently own 0 tribal things. I’m branching out!

I resisted the urge to tear into it like a small child. For about five seconds.

Christmas in July!

And there sure were some little luxuries to be had! I was super impressed with their packaging as well. (I love good boxes, look at that necklace box-it’s totally legit. Swoon.)

Wood Stack bracelet trio, NYX Peach Cobbler, Dana necklace, Hello Waffle blush, OPI in "I San Paulo Overe There" and 7th Heaven Naturals Mask.

I love that it came with a handwritten note, I feel special.

So the Dana necklace was immediately what caught my eye. I would never buy something like this in real life, but in subscription box life I was pumped. I think this necklace is perfect for summer and I’ve been wearing it all over the place. (The Target employees seem excited I finally got some new accessories. They see me a lot.)

These are for wearing, not ring toss.

I actually already own the NYX Butter Gloss in Peach Cobbler, but I think I’m going to keep this one because I am sort of addicted to wearing it all the time. It’s a beautiful red-orange color, light weight and I find it to be very hydrating.

Ok, so the bangles. This was my only disappointment with the box. I had seen all these gorgeous earrings that other bloggers had received so I was kinda bummed that I got 3 wooden bracelets. However, I DID pick the Classic Box, and that’s pretty classic so it could have just been my choices of boxes. Anyway, I’ve still been pairing them with sundresses, but I don’t love them like my precious Dana necklace.

I may have just smiled lovingly at these products.

This OPI shade is perfect for work, and who doesn’t love OPI?

I haven’t tried the mask yet, but I imagine I will do it while soaking in a bubble bath and drinking champagne while I wear my new necklace and bracelets. Sounds luxurious to me, ok?

Hello Waffle is a new brand to me, but seems to be an indie makeup company, which I love supporting. This blush is a beautiful mauvy pink color and highly pigmented, I definitely will be wearing it all summer.

Cats and Fairytales is Hello Waffle's tagline. I'm in !

Was my $35 well spent? I would say hell yes. I love the combo of beauty product and accessories and I am very excited about the quality of this box. I will be looking forward to my next Little Luxuries box from Sunset 45. Literally, I will probably be stalking the mailbox. Maybe the post office employee will like my necklace?

This subscription service definitely fits in a Beer Budget!

Love!
