Nude ‘Tude: With Technicolor!

Hello Beauties!

After a week of almost solid neutrals, I started to get a little…bored. So to spice up today’s look, I added Jordana Liquid Eyeliner Pencil in Purple Fix on my upper lash line to give my eye a subtle pop of color. I could most likely wear this to work and not offend anyone, which is always a plus in my book.

I’ve shared the look below. As always, I’m a super beginner, so hopefully my pictures will make sense to you. (I swear, I’m getting better most days.)

The supplies.

First, I primed my lid. Then I used the NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Iced Mocha to deepen the crease color and add some drama. I didn’t worry about my lines being perfect because I planned on blending out.

It's tempting to draw all over your face with this. For me at least.

Next, I added some crease color, and then blended it all out.

I promise to work on my close up skills.

Then I added color to my lid.

I'm using the Sonia Kashuk Large Shadow brush. It's a great price for the job it does.

After blending again with a clean large fluffy brush like a Sigma E40 or Sonia Kashuk Fluffy Blending Brush, I used shadow to line my upper and lower lash lines.

This is a Real Techniques brush, but I would actually recommend using a thinner angled eyeliner brush than this guy.

I highlighted a bit under my brow with Stand-offish, then I went in and added the Jordana eyeliner to my top lash line. I also applied Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. There’s not a picture of this procedure because things started to get dangerous and I worried about poking my eye out.

This is my evil face, I guess.

I'm super creeped out seeing my face this close up, I guess I need to work on conquering that fear.

So just a subtle pop of color that could add some fun to a neutral look.

That’s it for Nude ‘Tude Week. Wait til you see what drugstore palettes I’ve coming on Monday!

Love,

Rebs!
