lazy busy woman, I often don’t have time to shop or keep up with new trends. Thankfully, there are subscription services like Wantable, that will let me take a quiz and then mail me accessories straight to my door.
I got my first ever Wantable Accessories box yesterday, and I loved it. It’s $36 a month, or $40 for a one time purchase, which I consider to be on the pricier end of things. However, I thought this was a great value for what I got. All of the pieces they sent me could easy be worn at work or in my daily life.
Check out my review and let me know if Wantable fits into your beer budget.
Disclosure: I don’t get paid to do any of these reviews. These products are bought with my sad grad school funds and opinions are my own!
I LOVE that Wantable is customized. I am super picky and I felt the quiz they give you upon registering helped me weed out accessories that would have been a waste of money for me. Below are my results from the quiz:
And Wantable doesn’t pretend to look at your preferences, they sent me a box that had only things on my Love list. And it was fabulous.
I immediately loved both sets of earrings. These are perfect for me to wear to work, grad school, or to the grocery store. As I did today. Let me tell you, all of the shoppers were impressed.
Although I adore I good statement necklace, I’ve recently been into small, subtle necklaces. As if they read my mind, Wantable sent me something straight up my alley. I don’t want to take the Ring necklace off, it’s so simple, but pretty and unique.
As for the Kerry bracelet, I wasn’t sure how I felt at first. My first thought was “superhero from the 80’s.” (But to be fair, that’s my first thought in most situations.) However, when I tried it on, it actually looked fairly delicate, with just a bit of an edge. I’m rocking it daily now.
They also include tips on how to wear all your accessories. Which is helpful because I am easily confused by these sorts of things.
Although I’m fairly certain they might not recommend styling them with your front yard. Sorry, Wantable!
Is it September yet? I want another Wantable box.
Wantable also offers subscription services for Makeup, Intimates, and soon Fitness! (I don’t have the makeup one because between my Birchbox, Ipsy, and daily life, I have more than enough makeup)
I’m considering trying the Fitness box because my current workout clothes are my dance shorts from 2002 and a tank top from Old Navy. Super cute.
Questions of the Day:
-Would you try Wantable?
-What’s the most you would pay for a subscription service?
-Do your thoughts often turn to 80’s Superheroes?
