So, I got it in my head that I could make a video about my August Beauty Favorites Under $10. (Plus 3 beers!)
“Everyone does it.” I thought, “It will be eassssssyyyy.”
Yeah, no.
Things fell apart quickly. Let’s just say that. (Hence why this post is coming out at 11pm. Sorry!)
However, I HATE wasting things, including time, so I have to at least share my attempts at a video. And you can admire my carpet.

I would like to state that despite the quality of the video, all these products are wonderful and under $10. (Plus the beers mentioned for Happy Hour are delicious!)
But I’m sticking to words from now on, thank you very much.
Now, I’m going to fall asleep with a textbook.

Thanks! This means a lot to me because this video was the bane of my existence this past week (along with my discussion board posts for grad school, ew.)
I spend most of my life making weird faces, so I knew I wouldn’t be able to avoid that, lol. I just embrace it. But making a video obviously made me very self-conscious, so I completely understand your hesitation.

Filming videos is WAY harder than you think it’s going to be! I’ve tried a few times and I always feel like I end up rambling. Editing is also very time consuming. I’ve tried to film a few videos myself, and always want to do more but I’m way more in my comfort zone writing a post instead.
Yes, to this! That was way harder and more time consuming than I thought it would be!
I’ve always been better able to express myself through writing, anyway. But I still want to get better at videos. (I’m that person that gets mad when I’m not good at something, and then becomes determined to improve).
We’ll see how that turns out!
