Grab your favorite beverage, we have a lot to catch up on!
Or grab some cheese if you are under 21.
I have lots to share! Let’s start with my most anticlimatic news:
I am randomly graduating with my Master’s in December!
….but I won’t actually be done with school until Summer 2015.
To make a long, tedious, boring, and confusing story short, I decided to graduate early, (it turned out to be more beneficial to my career and finances), and will return in the Spring to finish up some certification courses I will still need.
I am both excited and nonchalant at the same time. I don’t even know how that’s possible, but I’m doing it.
Now for the bad news: (It’s actually only bad if you are me, live with me, work with me, or happen to have any types of encounters with me. If you are an innocent bystander-you’ll be ok.)
My thesis is due in December.
Which means between working full time, interning part time, and existing-I have to finish that thesis. Very scared right now:
This means…I have to cut down blog posting to Friday Happy Hours only. Because apparently my university will not accept a thesis on indie perfumes. UGH.
Although I’m only committing to a for-sure post every Friday, I already have written some reviews in advance. So there will be multiple posts here or there. Plus I just feel wrong buying makeup now and not swatching it on my arm.
Finishing this thesis is going to require a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and purchasing of beautiful things so I will definitely still be around. (Most likely procrastinating at my computer or crying in despair.)
Other good news? I’m aiming to have my first giveaway by the end of November! So you might be able to win things for your troubles!
That’s all for now friends. I hope you are doing well, and if I disappear, send for help and beer!
Questions of the Day:
-How are you guys doing?

Good luck with everything! Doing your thesis with all that other stuff going on is a lot, but it sounds like you are a really hard worker and you will be fine! I would even love to hear what your thesis is about, so if you’d like to share let me know 🙂 luckily I never had to do a thesis for my degree- just a giant portfolio that took forever. You are going to be so happy when it’s done! Talk to you soon 🙂
Thanks so much! My thesis is pretty evil, but I can see the light! It is a good feeling to know I’m almost done with it. I’ll try to DM you about my topic, (I’m trying to keep my actual career field separate from the blog-just a bit paranoid about future hiring, etc.) Again, thanks for the support! 🙂
