It’s a Double Trouble Day!
AKA I got behind on posting! It’s because I went to three Christmas parties this past week, so I’m not even mad. That is much better than being behind on posting because of thesis. (R.I.P. Thesis)
Anyway, Day 19 and Day 20 were both awesome, so let’s take a look!
PS: Mr. Danger’s Mystery Solstice Scents Package appears to be samples of 2 different collections. Instead of reviewing these in the days he hid them, I’ll be writing separate posts.

Day 19: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab’s Bon Vivant. ($4 for sample size. $22 for 6 samples.)
BPAL’s Bon Vivant- An effervescent blend of crystalline champagne notes and sweet strawberry.
This is super sweet and it smells just like bubbly pink champagne. It’s light, fun and would be a great summer scent. I kinda love it. It also reminds me a bit of Smelly Yeti’s Beauty Queen, but Bon Vivant leans more champagne. It has a great throw and lasts 4-5 hours on me. Sweet, bubbly fun scent, lovely for summer-a win for me!
Day 20: Hello Waffle’s Hot Cross Bunnies, ($2.50-$6).
First, let it be known that when I bought this back in October, I asked for a sample size. I am pretty sure this Hot Cross Bunnies is full sized. This is not the first time I’ve gotten a full size instead of a sample. What I’m saying is: Hello Waffle is pretty much the most generous person ever.
Hot Cross Bunnies- Sparkly pale lilac
I am such a sucker for purple/gold/brown/mauve eye shadows. They are basically my favorite combo. Hot Cross Bunnies is a gorgeous pale lilac shade that’s almost rose gold in certain light. It’s pigmented, easy to blend, and overall just beautiful. I absolutely love it. When Christine opens Hello Waffle back up in January, run, don’t walk, to buy this shade!
I loved these past two days, and I’m excited to see what the last 5 days of the indie advent calendar will bring.
(Other than a No-Buy in January, because I’m going to be pretty well stocked on makeup and perfume.)
