Hey friends!

It’s Christmas Eve-Eve! Usually, we get together with friends on this day, but it’s pretty rainy and gross outside, so I think Mr. Danger and I will be staying in. Perhaps even cleaning our house that hasn’t been the same since thesis deadlines/the flu-plague overtook our lives.

I don’t know about you guys, but often I just put on lipstick to wear around the house. Even if I spend all day cleaning today, I’ll probably put on some lipstick. In my opinion, life is too short not to wear lipstick whenever you feel like it.

Thankfully my Indie Advent Calendar treat for today is Performance Colors’ Paprika lipstick, a lovely warm red shade. I’m wearing it right now to do laundry, and it’s lovely.

On me, this seems to have some warm pink and orange tones to the red shade. It’s not nearly as in-your-face red as I expected, but that’s a good thing. This is the kind of mellow red you can wear to work or to run errands, and it just looks polished and classic, rather than eye-catching or statement making. I really love this shade, and out of the three colors I ordered from Peformance Colors, this might be my favorite.

Like the other PC lipsticks I bought, this applies easily and I only need a light hand to get full coverage. It wears comfortably and lasted 3-4 hours on me, even with drinking, before needing a touch up.

This indie advent calendar was my first introduction to Performance Colors with Pink Choco, Bad Girl, and Paprika. I loved all my purchases and plan on making another order soon!
