Hey friends!
So this post technically should have come out yesterday, but my puffy eyes were not up to a photoshoot, so I moved it. But I’m here today, with a review of the March Visage Box by Hello Waffle, including a look with the products! Puffy eyes and everything!
The packaging was spot on for the theme this month!
The technical stuff: Visage is a monthly subscription that costs $25, with shipping. 4-5 products for the entire face are included, usually with a guest indie company supplying one of the products. Each month has had a theme the products are based around, usually from a fairy tale or folk tale.
Visage subscription slots open on the 29th of the month, however slots are very limited and there may not be any available unless someone cancels. You can also purchase individuals items from the Visage boxes on the Hello Waffle website, they are usually released near the end of the month.
Good Stuff: The theme this month was Rumpelstiltskin!
The info letter this month was two sided, with the story on the back. I included a shot of the product information page.
I like the spinning wheel art this month.
Let’s get to the products!
Rympelstilskin: Dark green with chunky gold sparks

Top half of swatch was over Glitter Fix, bottom was over Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I didn’t see a difference, so.
That name is pretty annoying to spell. Just FYI. This color is awesome though, it’s a dark green with pretty shimmers of glitter. Hello Waffle’s Visage box has introduced me to the joy of foiling dark colors into eyeliner, and I’ll be definitely trying that with this color.
Spinning Wheel-Matte orange brown
I think this will make a really nice crease color. It leans a bit orange for me, but I think I’ll be able to make it work because it’s a good, warm color.
Fairy Dust Overshadow-What Was Promised-A sparkly gold in the jar but turns green over skin! This is so cool! It looks really yellow/gold in my picture, but it has a fantastic green shift that shows up in the light. The over shadows are meant to be used, over shadows, so I’m thinking this could really spark an eye look.
Femme Fatale Cosmetics Eyeshadow- Straw to Gold: Warm greyish mauve brown with copper sheen and green sparkles. I’ve heard so many great things about Femme Fatale, but I’ve been trying to put off an order until my birthday. But this shadow is going to make it so hard! The picture does not do justice, at all. It’s a brown-gold base with this amazing green shift. It’s so glittery and full of sparkles, I think I drooled a little when I was swatching it.
Miller’s Daughter Blush-An earthy pink with gold shimmerMy Visage blushes are what I use daily, and I’m so excited to add this one to the line up. This is going to be a perfect everyday use blush, it’s soft and adds a natural flush to my cheeks. Very pretty!
Lip Color in First Born Child-A rosy brown mlbb. Fades to a brighter pink.
HOLY GRAIL MLBB LIPSTICK ALERT! I finally found it! I’ve been searching and searching for an indie MLBB shade and this is it! It starts off as a beautiful rose brown, that’s just a shade deeper than my natural lips. Then it fades to this beautiful rose pink. It’s smooth and comfortable to wear, and it lasts quite a while on me. I’m in love. I may have to see if I can get an extra of this!
Face!
I had the hardest time figuring out how I wanted to use all the colors. I knew how to use them individually, but I really had to get creative to use them together. And in the end, I LOVE the way my eye look came out. This is going to be my go-to “going out” eye look. (With a bit more eyeliner and mascara)
Miller’s Daughter on my cheeks, and First Born Child on my lips.
Straw to Gold over Glitter Fix, all over the eyelid. Rumpelskiltskin blended into outer corner of eyelid. What What Promised in inner corner of eyelid. Spinning Wheel in the crease. I used Darkhorse from the UD Naked Palette to lightly light the lower lash line. NYC Eyeliner on top.
Overall:
I absolutely love the blush and lip color of this set. Like I will be using these guys daily, they are perfect for my skin color and gorgeous.
The eye colors are really dramatic, but also beautiful. I’ve got big plans to foil Rumpelstiltskin and of course, I now have my perfect going out eye.
I love Visage as usual!

Questions of the Day:
-What did you think of this month’s Visage?
-How would you have combined the eye colors?
-Rumpelstiltskin needs a new name, what do you suggest?
Love,
Rebs!
