EOTD/BOTD: Blue Sky, Green Grass

Hey friends!

Hope Wednesday is treating you well!

I’m still working through my new Dawn Eyes Cosmetics order, and I’ve got a gorgeous Springy shade to share with you. It’s a lazy girl Spring #EOTD that requires next to no blending or special skills. Perfect for when you would rather be boating or laying in grass or whatever Spring activity you prefer.

Also I have Chimay Grande Reserve to review. Which honestly, is more of me waxing poetic and gushing love, than a true review. Because it’s Chimay Grande Reserve.

So check it out!

Eye of the Day: Dawn Eyes Cosmetics Blue Sky, Green Grass. Full size $3.

Dawn Eyes Blue Sky, Green GrassIt’s no secret I’ve been obsessed with green eye shadow lately, but darn, this one takes the cake. This is a beautiful sea-foam green packed with shimmer. It applied beautifully and evenly over GDE Glitter Fix, and it just really pops.

I’ve also used it as an eyeliner and it’s absolutely stunning. Given that it was $3 for full size, shipped within 2 days of me ordering it, and is so beautiful-I’m sorely tempted to go back and buy the rest of the shadows in Dawn Eyes’ Diamond in the Sky Collection. BE STRONG WILLPOWER.

Lid: Dawn Eyes’ Blue Sky, Green Grass
Crease: Urban Decay’s Sidecar
Brow Color: Urban Decay’s Sin
Top Eyeliner: NYC Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in Dark Brown
Mascara: Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

Beer of the Day Forever: Chimay Grande Reserve

chimay grande reserveChimay Says:This authentic Belgian beer, whose tinge of fresh yeast is associated with a light rosy flowery touch, is particularly pleasant. Its aroma, perceived as one enjoys it, only accents the delightful sensations revealed by the odour, all revealing a light but agreeable caramelized note.

Rebs Says: I love and adore Belgian beer, and it pretty much goes without saying that I love and adore this Grande Reserve.

First, it’s a lovely ruddy brown color and it pours a beautiful frothy head. The flavor is smooth with hints of brown sugar, bready notes, and the barest taste of resiny-fruit, like a rustic raisin bread beer. It’s so drinkable that it surprises me that it’s actually 9% ABV. The alcohol taste is hidden very well with the smooth sweet flavors of the beer, so be careful and sip on this guy.

I’m in love, friends. I don’t know how much Mr. Danger paid for this beer, and I don’t want to know because I’m sure it cost my first born. But it’s so worth it.

Rebs Rating: 5/5. Yeah, I said it.

Questions of the Day:
-Have you tried Dawn Eyes?
-What’s your Spring go-to look?
-Have you ever had Chimay?

PS: When I told Mr. Danger I was reviewing Chimay he laughed and agreed you don’t review Chimay. Chimay reviews you.

Love,

Rebs!
