Hey friends!
How was your weekend? Mine was filled with fruitless car shopping (BOO), but then delicious beverages and good company (YAY).
I’m not ready for the weekend to end, but at least I’ll look stylish tomorrow thanks to my May Wantable Accessories Box!
Check it out!
The technical stuff: A Wantable Accessories subscription costs $36 a month, and subscribers receive a $4 credit. You take a fairly detailed profile quiz ranking your accessory likes and dislikes, and every month 4-5 pieces will be sent to you. Wantable also offers similar subscriptions in Makeup and Intimates, (though I’ve never tried them).
It appears Wantable has also introduced a feature where you can now return parts of your box for partial credit. I haven’t done this yet, but it seems like a great idea to help customers who might not like the risk value of paying $40 for jewelry they may or may not life.
I’ve been with Wantable for several months now and you can find some of my other reviews here.
The Good Stuff: I had a specific request this month for accessories I could wear to work, specifically at my new big girl job.
Thanks Madeline, you did a good job!
My May Collection:
Lara Necklace, Retail Value $18
I love this necklace for work, and even for spicing up a casual shirt on the weekends. I like how simple it is, and I like the small mint teardrop. Mine had a few scratches on the teardrop stone, but they are not really noticeable unless you’re looking closely, so I will live with it. Other than that, I am going to get so much wear out of this necklace, it’s a perfect fit for me!
Shandi Earrings, Retail $11
I really needed some simple gold studs for work, and I love these little “y” shaped earrings. These are so perfect for when I just need studs, but they’ve got a bit of interest to them with the design.
Anna Bracelet, Retail Value $16
I absolutely love this bracelet. I love the the drawstring clasp style and the way it dangles on my wrist. The blue stones are small and pretty, and the overall effect is feminine and delicate. Totally in love with this one.
Hayley Watch, Retail Value $32
I like everything about this watch EXCEPT the blue face. I don’t why that bothers me so much, but there’s something about it that doesn’t look polished and professional. I’m going to try to rock it anyway, but I’m just like URH, you could have been perfect with almost any color other than blue.
Overall:
Other than the blue face on that watch, I LOVED this box. It was absolutely perfect for work. I’ve really needed some simple accessories, and these will be so nice in my jewelry collection.
I’m especially in love with that bracelet. I probably never would have picked it out for myself, which is one of the reasons I like Wantable. Having someone else do my accessory shopping saves me so much time, effort, inner struggle, and money.
I will probably skip the next month of Wantable just because my accessories collection is currently runneth over, but I’ll be back in July!
Questions of the Day:
-What did you think of this Accessories Box?
-Have you tried Wantable?
-Why is that blue clock face bothering me so much? Too retro? Too blue? Whyyyyyy?
Love,
Rebs!
Looks like you got a pretty great box, especially since you loved everything so much! I don’t hate the blue face, but I get where you’re coming from. I think the thing that would be bug me most is that it seems dark in contrast to the metal, which would make it hard to read. Looking at all of your lovely collections totally got me to bite the bullet and get my own accessories box, by the way. I was pretty happy with what I got last month, and I’m really excited to see what they do with this one!
I’ve been really happy with my boxes! I like that there’s an option to review the jewelry and make comments or requests, (like this month I asked for professional), I think that’s definitely improved my box content.
I can’t wait to see your May box, hope it’s great!
