Hey friends!

So apparently I started this post a long time ago, and then completely forgot to finish it when my internship and new job started. Which means this post is unfortunately out of season, but hey- it’s still 100 degrees where I live,so I think I’ll cut myself some slack.

Anyway for my first EOTD/BOTD in a lonnngggg time, I have a very summery Kona Brewing Company’s Big Wave and a super easy look using ColourPop’s Metamorphosis Set.

So let’s check it out!

EOTD: ColourPop’s Metamorphisis Quad, $20

I don’t think this quad is even available anymore, that’s how old this post is. II just checked and it still available! Internet fact checking at it’s best! But I grabbed it this summer because I loved the brown and shimmery blue shades.

For this EOTD I started with some primer, and just threw Strength in the crease, Bravery on my lid, and Hope on my brow (watch out, this one is reallllly bright). Then I dabbed a bit of Kindness, the cool duochrome, in the middle of my lid. Kindness is what really sells this quad, it’s such an awesome duochrome and can be used in several different looks.

Beer of the Day: Kona’s Big Wave

Kona Brewing Company Says:

Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor – a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish.

Rebs Says: This was a refreshing and light beer. Nice to drink for summer with light carbonation and a slightly sweet taste. And that’s about it. Unfortunately, I found Big Wave to just be kinda boring. It tasted just like any other light ale or pilsner beer. Which is great if you just want a solid beer, but I guess I always hope for more with craft beer. At the same time, I can’t complain because it’s not bad either.
